A space to pause, explore and find a way forward

People of all ages come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a particular difficulty or life experience that feels important to explore. At other times, life may feel overwhelming, uncertain or simply not quite right.

Art therapy and counselling can support children, adolescents, adults and older people, with the therapeutic approach developing in response to each person's age, needs, interests and preferred ways of expressing themselves.

For children and young people, creative processes can provide a natural way to communicate and explore feelings and experiences.

Adults may be drawn to art therapy, counselling, IFS-informed therapy, or a combination of approaches. For older adults, therapy may offer space for reflection, creative expression, connection and navigating experiences of change, loss and transition.

Therapy may be helpful when experiencing anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional challenges or significant life changes. It can also offer opportunities for greater self-understanding, personal growth and creative exploration.

There is no need to know exactly what you need before beginning. Therapy offers a space to pause, explore and discover what feels most important, allowing the therapeutic approach to develop in response to your unique story, strengths and experiences. Therapy develops at a pace that feels safe, respectful and meaningful for each person.
